Friends of Exceptional Children

I was part of the online fund-raising concert “Friends of Exceptional Children. I was a volunteer for this project where we help to raise funds for children with intellectual disabilities. Funds raised will be donated to Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS), a voluntary welfare organization based in Singapore, that provides services for the intellectually disabled. Supported by Heartware Network and Temasek Foundation, this project is aimed towards raising awareness towards children with intellectual disabilities and to alleviate the issues faced by the children during this pandemic. I believe this event will achieve greater success with the help of all of Youth Volunteers. My thought was that I don’t have to be financially wealthy to be able to give. All of us are capable of giving back to society and helping the disadvantaged. I was part of the social media promoter team where I was responsible for writing press release and post content for social media.
